LOVE ONE ANOTHER

BIBLIA1.jpg

HE WHO DOES NOT LOVE, HAS NOT COME TO KNOW GOD

1Jn 3:13  My brothers, do not be surprised if those who are of the world hate you. 1Jn 3:14  We have passed from death to life, and we know it because we love our brothers. He who does not love is still dead. 1Jn 3:15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer can have eternal life in himself.  1Jn 3:16  We know what love is because Jesus Christ gave his life for us; likewise, we must give our lives for our brothers. 1Jn 3:17  Well, if someone is rich and sees that his brother needs help, but he doesn't give it to him, how can he have love for God in his heart?

1Jn 3:6  Therefore, everyone who remains united to him does not continue to sin; but everyone who sins has not seen him or known him. 1Jn 3:7  My children, let no one deceive you: he who practices justice is just, as he is just;

1Jn 2:28  Now, my children, remain united to Christ, so that we may have confidence when he appears and not feel ashamed before him when he comes. 1Jn2:29  Since you know that Jesus Christ is just, you should also know that all who do what is just are children of God.

1Jn 2:3  If we obey God's commandments, we can be sure that we have come to know him. 1Jn 2:4 But if anyone says, "I know him," and does not obey his commandments, he is a liar, and there is no truth in him. 1Jn 2:5  On the other hand, if one obeys his word, in him the love of God has been truly perfected, and in this way we know that we are united to him. 1Jn 2:6  He who says he is united with God must live as Jesus Christ lived.

1Jn 2:10  He who loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing to make him fall. 1Jn 2:11  But he who hates his brother lives and walks in the dark, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.

A question that I should ask myself is this.

DO I HAVE LOVE FOR THE BROTHERS OF THE FAITH?

DO I HAVE LOVE FOR THE CHURCH OF THE LORD JESUS THE CHRIST?

GOD IS LOVE HE WHO DOES NOT LOVE DOES NOT KNOW GOD

1Jn 4:7 Dear brothers, we must love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 1Jn 4:8  He who does not love has not known God, because God is love. 1Jn 4:9  God showed his love towards us by sending his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him. 1Jn 4:10  Love consists in this: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son, so that, offering himself as a sacrifice, our sins might be forgiven. 1Jn 4:11  Dear brothers, if God has loved us like this, we must also love one another. 1Jn 4:12  No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love becomes reality in us. 1Jn 4:13  The proof that we live in God and that he lives in us is that he has given us his Spirit. 1Jn 4:14  and we ourselves have seen and declare that the Father sent his Son to save the world. 1Jn 4:15  Anyone who acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God lives in God and God in him. 1Jn 4:16  Thus we have come to know and believe that God loves us. God is love, and he who lives in love lives in God and God in him. 1Jn 4:17  In this way love becomes reality in us, so that on the day of judgment we may have confidence; because we are in this world just as Jesus Christ is. 1Jn 4:18  Where there is love there is no fear. On the contrary, perfect love casts out fear, because fear supposes the punishment. Therefore, if someone is afraid, it is because they have not come to love perfectly. 1Jn 4:19  We love because he first loved us.  1Jn 4:20  If anyone says: "I love God" and at the same time hates his brother, he is a liar. For if one does not love his brother, whom he sees, neither can he love God, whom he does not see. 1Jn 4:21  Jesus Christ has given us this commandment: that he who loves God must also love his brother.

THE MANIFESTATION THAT SOMEONE LIVES IN GOD IS HAVING LOVE FOR HIS BROTHER IN THE FAITH, LOVING HIS BROTHERS, LOVING THE CHURCH. IF THERE IS HATE IN THE HEART EVERYTHING WE SAY MEANS NOTHING. BECAUSE LOVE IS FROM GOD, AND IT IS THROUGH LOVE WHERE WE  REALLY SEE A WORK OF GOD. LOVE DOES NOT HARM  OTHERS.

1 John 4:18 tells us; perfect love casts out fear: and where there is love there is no fear.

Exodus_34:6  He passed before Moses, saying with a loud voice: - The Lord!  Tender and compassionate God, patient and great in love and truth!

Num_14:18  that you do not get angry easily, that your love is very great and that you forgive wickedness and rebellion, although you do not leave the guilty unpunished, but you punish the wickedness of the parents in their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the great-great-grandchildren

Knowing God leads us to understand that I have a God full of love and goodness and who forgives me, and that I can trust in God's great love for me. but at the same time that same love must be manifested in me for others. David in repeated cheers exclaimed and highlighted God's great love towards his life, but within that great love there was also punishment and discipline towards David, and even his family suffered the penalty of the sin that David committed. but at the same time David looked to God's forgiveness and love in each of these consequences.

psalm_5:7  Instead I, for your great love, I can enter your temple; I can adore you with all reverence looking towards your holy temple!

psalm_6:4 Come, Lord, save my life! save me, for your love!

psalm_13:5  I trust in your love;my heart rejoices because you save me.

psalm_17:7  Give me a clear sign of your love, you, who save those who seek protection in your power from their enemies.

psalm_21:7 You, O king, will never fall, for you trust in the Lord; you trust in the love of the Most High!

psalm_23:6  Your kindness and your love accompany me throughout my days,

This is God’s love, in the book psalms we can see how much David experienced God’s everlasting love, so we do in our daily lives, so we must rest assured that God will protect us with his love, but as we have received God’s love through our Lord Jesus we must love each other in God’s love. It is through his love that we also can love. Just meditate for a moment and remember how much God has loved you, how many times God has rescued you from danger, how many times God has forgiven you. How many times has Lord Jesus been there even when you have failed Him.

Luke 7:40-49
7:40 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”So he said, “Teacher, say it.” 41“There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?” 43Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” 44Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no  water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. 45 You gave Me no  kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46 You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” 48Then He said to her,  “Your sins are forgiven.” 49 And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” 50Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.

Simon was judging the woman and condemning her but Jesus showed his love not only for Him but for her too. Jesus accepted Simon’s invitation to his house because Jesus loved him too. But Simon needs to learn to love others as well. So have to learn from this parable. Are we loving our brothers and sisters? Are we loving those like this woman? Let’s learn to love each other today. If you are lacking love, ask Jesus to come to your heart today and fill you with his love to love Him and to love others.
